Monday 13th December

Square Hole is a night of comedy every second Monday of the month at The Red Deer in Sheffield City Centre, starting on December 13th 2010.

The long-term hope behind the night is to cultivate an audience with a taste for original and intelligent comedy. Some acts will have something to say, some will be a bit different, some will be distinctively alternative, but all are flipping funny.

They’re assembled like a little crack comedian unit (that changes each month, we’re fickle). So it’s a new act and new material night but no one is blind booked and it’s all wrapped up by an experienced closer.

Tickets will be two tiny quid and you’ll be able to buy them from the Red Deer (soon, I’ll let you know). The room is intimately sized so getting your tickets in advance is advised.

The first night’s acts will be:
Gareth Urwin
as well as the marvellous
Sir Richard Swan
Shaista Aziz
Peter Brush
Fern Brady
and MC Rich Milner
(Subject to change; comedians are fickle too.)
