Monday 13th June 2011

This month at Square Hole there will be another sprinkling of comedians providing you with more opportunities to laugh at things you might have thought of if you’d spent many lonely hours trying to compensate for your shortcomings and insecurities by writing jokes and stuff so people would like you and think you’re good and that.

The cherry on top of June’s sweet, spongey line-up is Dan Bland, who would probably resent being referred to as a cherry, but is a very skilled comedian about whom people have said things like:

“Dan Bland is like a slow-burning explosive.” Worksop Guardian
&
“Razor-sharp jokes beautifully delivered.” Paul Sinha

Comprising the layers of sponge, cream and jam are:

Katie Mulgrew
Red Redmond
Nick Cranston
Lee Kyle
&
Owen Rankin

As usual you’ll have a chance to win either Michael McIntyre’s autobiography or some other book, as well as tickets to the upcoming Edinburgh preview night on June 26th.

Be there, be square.*

Doors 7.30pm; Show 8.00pm
