Sometimes, when you feel that the very fabric of society is tainted by selfishness, corruption and greed, there’s not a lot of joy left over for a throwaway preamble. What have we come to when there’s no joy left for a preamble? Not even the amble itself? Luckily, I’m not responsible for the main attraction ambling, and this month we’ve got some of the most able verbal amblers on the go.
Glenn Wool
Glenn began his comedy career in his hometown of Vancouver in 1995. He moved to London in 1998 and quickly became one of the rising stars of the UK and international comedy circuit. He cemented this year on year and has taken numerous highly acclaimed shows to the Edinburgh fringe and toured them globally thereafter, drawing in sell-out crowds wherever he travels. He’s appeared variously on TV including on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Russell Howard’s Good News, Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience, and John Oliver’s New York Comedy Show to name a handful. He has energy and intelligence in equal measure and consumate control of his oratory powers. But if you’ve seen Glenn Wool before, I won’t need to explain why you shouldn’t miss this. If you haven’t, don’t miss this.

Edy Hurst
Edy Hurst started performing comedy in 2013 and has become the mild mannered wild man of comedy we always suspected. Combining odd ball lingo with the view of a wide eyes niave optimist, there’s heaps of charm in the high energy smorgasbord of stand up, one liners, music and prop nonsense.
