Monday 11th March

In honour of Mother’s Day, we’re going to give birth to an excellent night of comedy with a truly exceptional headline act, splendiferous opener and typically exciting support taking the form of sketch comedy. And it will be the mother of all comedy nights taking place in Sheffield the day after Mother’s Day. And there’ll be cake, just like your mother would bake, except it’ll be better and baked by your maternal host and compere.

Toby Hadoke

Toby Hadoke

An intelligent and thoughtful wordsmith, Hadoke has been one of the most respected comedians on the UK circuit for over ten years and his experience and standing are impeccable. As well as headlining many of the country’s most prestigious comedy clubs year on year, he has earned critical acclaim for his multiple Edinburgh shows, one of which went on to the West End, was adapted for BBC radio, earned a Sony Award nomination and continues to tour internationally. He’s respected for comedic output which can be both politically informed and poignant but always funny, and being as he’s busy writing and acting and divides his time between the North and London, we’re unspeakably chuffed to have him.

‘Superior stand-up skills’ – The Guardian

‘Savage witted and incisive satire’ – City Life

‘A stage manner more engaging than Henry VIII and a wit sharper than an executioner’s axe’ – The Big Issue

Kiri Pritchard-Mclean

Kiri Pritchard-Mclean

Marvellous stage presence, brilliantly crafted and deftly delivered material, and the gift of charismatic chutzpah make Kiri one of the most engaging and enjoyable up and coming acts on the circuit.

‘Effortless and Effervescent, quite simply a natural comic’ – C69 Comedy

‘Kiri was by far the funniest & quick witted, one to look out for in the future’ – Leicester Mercury

‘Kiri has a fantastic array of jokes and a wonderful connection with the audience… a fantastic comic… just simply hilarious’ – Juice Comedy
