We're back on Sunday with our first mixed bill of the year. Sandwiched between Jain Edwards and Sam See will be two white men in glasses. But these are special white men with glasses. They are both called Michael. Mannion is co-runner of Comedy For Hot People, one of Manchester's sweetest gigs. We're looking forward to some hot people vibes. Dolan is a Square Hole alum, has multiple Edinburgh shows and two wonderful comedy albums under his belt, and is one of host Rich's fave acts. Yes, Rich is a white guy in glasses.

These are two immensely gifted and deservedly award-winning talents.

Sam’s show was just stunning; powerful, personal, silly and sublime.

Lee and Rich were chuffed to be able to bring this night to @shakespearesshf

Here’s last night’s audience enjoying Peter Fl Here’s last night’s audience enjoying Peter Fleming, with support from Stanley Norman. Tom Burgess and Stan Skinny have each created wonderfully hilarious characters with depth and dimension.

Peter Fleming’s Woefully Inaccurate History of the BBC is a sublime tribute to the Beeb and to the changing landscape of cultural consumption in general. The elegance with which the character moves from daftness to poignancy was remarkable. Bolstered by Burgess’ agility and wit, it’s a refined gem of a show.

It was a treat for Square Hole to present such talented performers - both of whom honed their craft in Sheffield.

Thanks to @_talesofwhatever for working with us on this and more shows to come!

Supporting Peter Fleming tomorrow is... Stanley No Supporting Peter Fleming tomorrow is... Stanley Norman!

Stanley is an ideas man with big dreams trying to piece his life together and cut his teeth in the vicious world of business. Absurdist character comedy of the highest calibre from Stan Skinny (aka Captain the Butcher Reality).

Imagine throwing Harry Hill, Vic and Bob, Angelos Epethemiou and Count Arthur Strong in a blender, except without the gore and just the fun. Stan is Yorkshire Comedy Award nominee and twice great Yorkshire Show Off winner and is talented in more ways than should be allowed.
